A Presidential Intervention

Remember that reality t.v. show with the interventions? Imagine doing one for our belligerent President in order to educate him as to the intelligence community.

Well, considering President Trump has said before that he knows more than the generals, chose President Putin over his own intelligence organizations multiple times, and is now slamming Dan Coats the Director of National Intelligence, maybe it’s not a bad idea. And by the way, you aren’t alone with that thought.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has recommended an intervention for President Trump and sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray.

“I believe it is incumbent on you, Director Wray and Director Haspel to insist on an immediate meeting with the President to educate him about the facts and raw intelligence underlying the Intelligence Community assessments …,”

That’s how desperate we have become. That’s where President Trump has led this country. Maybe the 25th Amendment is not a bad idea.

Then again, Trump tweeted this week that intelligence officials should go back to school while he confuses “there” and “their” in the same sentence, and he has a long list of grammatical errors on his Twitter feed. This is the “stable genius?”
