Coffee and This Morning’s News

Good morning. Enjoy your sip of espresso as we go over today’s news and headlines.

Rudy Giuliani

Rudy “Gibberish” Giuliani should learn to quit while he is behind. Last night he was on Fox News with Martha MacCallum where he tried to explain his “truth isn’t truth” statement.

Giuliani: It’s like the tree falling in the forest. Did anybody hear it? I mean how do we know what the truth is?

I don’t know want to say about America’s favorite crazy uncle anymore. At least he is entertaining. Don’t take him seriously and you will be fine.

Russian Hackers Are Still Screwing with Our Elections

Microsoft uncovered new attempts by Russian hackers. This time, the hackers were acting like  conservative think-tanks, the Hudson Institute and the International Republican Institute.

The hacking has not stopped. It’s only gotten worse. According to Senator Bill Nelson, Florida has already been attacked. Even our power grids are vulnerable.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions

Jeff Sessions, who loves Mexican food but hates Mexicans, is applying pressure to immigration judges to speed up deportation cases.

The Paul Manafort Trial

Today is day four of the jurors deliberating in the Manafort case. You can bet the country is watching on both sides of the aisle the first trial brought on by the Robert Mueller investigation.

President Trump’s Revocation of Security Clearances

After revoking John Brennan’s security clearance, the former director of the CIA, President Trump has been threatening to revoke even more security clearances. However, the intelligence community has responded, heavily criticizing President Trump’s actions.

Now, more than 175 intelligence officials have signed their name to a letter bashing Trump for his Authoritarian actions.

Enjoy your coffee and we shall meet again later today for Happy Hour News.
