Jamal Khashoggi’s Murder
CNN obtained Jamal Khashoggi’s messages in WhatsApp and those critical messages by Khashoggi were believed to be intercepted by the Saudi government.
The CIA has concluded that Khashoggi’s murder was ordered by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. President Trump has basically remained quiet on the subject.

The Trade War Taking a Break
At the Group 20 meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina, President Trump and President Xi of China agreed to a temporary truce on the trade war.
Former President George Bush the country’s 41st President, passed away over the weekend at the age of 94. This afternoon he will lie in state at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington.
On Wednesday, a funeral will be held at the National Cathedral. President Trump was invited to the funeral.
Build that Wall
President Bush’s passing may have been timely for the Republicans as a government shutdown looms with the holidays weeks away.
President Trump has stated he will shut down the government if he doesn’t receive $5 billion in funding. Republicans are likely to extend the deadline.
Russia and Our Elections
Secretary of Defense James Mattis believes Russia is still meddling in our elections, unlike President Trump that took the word of Putin over that of his own intelligence community.
Speaking to reporters at the Reagan National Defense Forum in California, Mattis said there is a “continued effort” by Russia to meddle in U.S. elections and internal affairs.
“I don’t know that the effort has increased but it has continued. He [Putin] tried again to muck around in our election this last month, and we are seeing a continued effort on those lines.”
Pelosi in the House
Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has vowed to pass legislation that would give “Dreamers”- DACA recipients a path to U.S. citizenship.
President Trump, the G20, and the Environment
While the world recognizes climate change and President Trump believes it was a hoax invented by the Chinese, at the G20 summit nineteen countries agreed to work together on climate change, but of course the lone holdout was President Trump who doesn’t even believe the latest report from his own administration.
