Donald Trump, Jr. Is Next- Roger Stone

Roger Stone in an interview with The Political Insider and James Miller, said that Don, Jr. will be indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

“I predict, based on excellent sourcing, that the special counsel is going to charge Donald Trump Jr. with lying to the FBI. Notice they’re not charging him for having an illegal meeting with a Russian at Trump Tower because there’s nothing illegal about that meeting.”- Roger Stone.

I wrote about this same issue with Don, Jr. on July 29.

The story involving the Trump Tower meeting has changed more than officials within the Trump administration.

It’s obvious from day one that multiple parties were lying, especially Don, Jr. who had testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Each time he lies, that’s a separate felony charge. That’s exactly how it all started with Trump foreign adviser George Papadopoulos.

Now, Stone is partially correct that there is nothing illegal about a meeting, but, again, that depends. Was the meeting for colluding with Russia and obtaining illegally emails from Hillary Clinton and the DNC? Then that is a conspiracy charge and it’s a felony.

Regardless, the Mueller investigation works like drug investigations like you see in the movies. Do the cops bust through the door of the mansion of the top honcho and bust him? Only at the end of the movie.

It always starts at the bottom with a low-level drug dealer who leads the cops to someone else higher up on the food chain until one-by-one, like the rungs of a ladder, you reach the top rung.

Mueller could not start his investigation with President Trump or Don, Jr. and work his way down. It’s the reverse.

On a separate note, Don, Jr. posted not too long ago, a picture on Instagram where he grew a full beard while vacationing in the Yukon territory of Alaska. His post made clear he was “disconnected” from social media throughout this time.

Don, Jr. no doubt loves the outdoors and was probably hunting, but it just struck me odd with the timing of everything, making me jump to the conclusion that he needed to “get away” because something did happen that publicly, we don’t know about yet.

Time will tell.
