Early Voting on College Campuses an Issue in Duval County
Duval County, which encompasses the city of Jacksonville, has a push as of late for the Supervisor of Elections to use college campuses as early-voting sites.
Th push is coming from a federal ruling last month that allows for college campuses to be used for early voting. The original ban did not allow for college campuses as early voting sites, but the court ruling does not require it.
The Office of the Supervisor of Elections says logistically it is unlikely within the time-frame of the mid-term elections.
