The Middle District is divided into four areas: the Fort Myers area, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa.
Fort Myers Division
If you live in Charlotte, Collier, De Soto, Glades, Hendry and Lee county, your case will be heard in the Fort Myers division. The courthouse is located at 2110 First Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33901.
The following counties are within the Jacksonville division for bankruptcy:
Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Hamilton, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, and Union.
The courthouse is located at 300 N. Hogan Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202.
Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia are part of the Orlando Division for bankruptcy.
The bankruptcy court in Orlando is located at 400 W. Washington Street, Orlando, Florida 32801.
The location of the bankruptcy court in Tampa is 801 N. Florida Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33602.
The following counties fall within the jurisdiction of the Tampa division: Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota.
