Florida Courts Coronavirus Update

Important COVID-19 Announcement
Below is an email received from the Florida Courts regarding the coronavirus.

This afternoon, Chief Justice Charles Canady issued an Administrative Order that will limit most face-to-face legal proceedings and suspend all grand jury proceedings, jury selection proceedings, and criminal and civil jury trials for a minimum of two weeks beginning Monday, March 16. The order authorizes local judges to use remote electronic means whenever possible and will be extended or modified as needed.

Clerks and trial court administrators are implementing the order and notifying all who have been called for jury service.Please check the Bar’s COVID-19 Information and Resources web page for the latest court announcements and for updates on the status of Bar meetings, events and continuing legal education courses.
