President Trump’s administration continues to lose in court on sanctuary cities and federal funding.

Give it up on the Sanctuary Cities Trump- Losing!

Losing. Losing. Losing. Losing. Losing. Losing. Losing.

That’s how many times Trump’s administration lost this week in their attempt to withhold federal funding for sanctuary cities.

The Trump administration was attempting to withhold $29 million in federal funding for New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington.

Manhattan Federal Judge Edgardo Ramos ruled that “the separation of powers acts as a check on tyranny and the concentration of power. These conditions violate the separation of powers.”

“The City believes that these laws and policies are instrumental in maintaining the City’s historically low crime rates by promoting trust and cooperation between the New York Police Department and the public, including immigrant communities that otherwise may retreat into the shadows if they believe that the police will share their information with federal immigration authorities.”

“Conspicuously absent from all of these documents is any discussion of the negative impacts that may result from imposing the conditions, and the record is devoid of any analysis that the perceived benefits outweigh these drawbacks.” Judge Ramos.

The grant money was issued by an act of Congress which the President cannot overrule. How long before Trump attacks Judge Ramos?

State Attorney General Barbara Underwood who continues to beat President Trump in court, especially with her lawsuit on the Trump Foundation, said:

“As we argued, local law enforcement has the right to decide how to meet their local public safety needs — and the Trump administration simply does not have the right to require state and local police to act as federal immigration agents. The Trump administration’s attempt to withhold these vital funds was nothing more than a political attack at the expense of our public safety.”

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said Judge Ramos’ ruling was a slap to President Donald Trump’s “fact-free claims” about immigration. “The courts have spoken: President Trump’s attempt to bully our city into enforcing his draconian immigration policies is unconstitutional.”

New York will receive $4.3 million in funding.

At a campaign rally in Billings, Montana, President Trump said:

“We’re going to win. We’re going to win so much. We’re going to win at trade, we’re going to win at the border. We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning, you’re going to come to me and go ‘Please, please, we can’t win anymore.’ You’ve heard this one. You’ll say ‘Please, Mr. President, we beg you sir, we don’t want to win anymore. It’s too much. It’s not fair to everybody else.’ “And I’m going to say ‘I’m sorry, but we’re going to keep winning, winning, winning, We’re going to make America great again.”

For the record- I’m not tired of winning. I’m actually enjoying it.
