Happy Hour News- Mojitos, Cuba Libre and Marco Rubio
Today was no doubt a long day, but, today’s headline news are a doozy. Let’s get to it.
President Trump is “Detrimental to the Health of the Republic”
The New York Times published an anonymous op-ed piece, not a common thing by any stretch of the imagination, and it sheds light on the dangers that President Trump has created to our nation.
It even seems that there is an “inside resistance” to Trump because without it, this country would be in more disarray than it already is. A group of people that have stuck around, and I have felt that way about Jeff Sessions, haven’t quit because they are putting country over party.
Marco Rubio and El Loco Alex Jones
Marco Rubio and Alex Jones almost went “mano a mano.” Seriously, I can’t make this stuff up.
What happened- Read below the interaction.
Jones patted Rubio on the shoulder. First of all, I’m not a fan of Rubio’s politics even though we have Cuban parents and grew up in the same town in Miami and in that regard, share some similarities.
But, I give credit to Rubio and he’s 100% spot on. Respect someone’s space!
Marco Rubio – “Hey, don’t touch me again, man. I’m asking you not to touch me again.”
Jones- “Sure, I just patted you nicely.”
Rubio- “But I don’t want to be touched. I don’t know who you are.”
Jones- “You want me to get arrested.”
Rubio- “You’re not going to get arrested. I’ll take care of you myself.”
Jones calls him “little frat boy” and a “gangster thug.”
Rubio walks away and says “you guys can talk to this clown.”
So, because I don’t mix my personal beliefs with someone’s politics, if I ever bump into you Marco, I owe you a Mojito or Cuba Libre, the choice is yours.
Salud to all of you.
