Happy Hour Time America-Budweiser Style
Sit back and pop open a nice cold can of America or Budweiser, whatever it is called these days, and let’s start Happy Hour where we discuss the news, but with a drink in hand and let’s have some fun. We are serious enough eight hours a day.
Bud is today’s choice for one simple reason, it’s American, and what Americans do is stand up for what we believe in. Cross us, and you will pay for it dearly.
Our Attorney General from Alabama said enough is enough today. President Trump who likes to bully anyone and everyone, crossed the wrong guy today and he fired back.
It was just earlier today that President Trump interviewed with Fox News and questioned Sessions’ manhood, asking what kind of man is he?
“Jeff Sessions recused himself, which he shouldn’t have done. Or he should have told me. Even my enemies say that Jeff Sessions should have told you that he was going to recuse himself and then you wouldn’t have put him in. He took the job and then he said I’m going to recuse myself. I said, ‘what kind of man is this?’”
You think Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III is some sort of mamby-pamby that is going to sit back and tolerate such disrespect? Hell no! This is America! We fight back! Sessions popped open a can of “whoop ass.”
And for the record, I’m not a Jeff Sessions fan.
Listen up Mr. Trump:
“I took control of the Department of Justice the day I was sworn in, which is why we have had unprecedented success at effectuating the President’s agenda—one that protects the safety and security and rights of the American people, reduces violent crime, enforces our immigration laws, promotes economic growth, and advances religious liberty.
While I am Attorney General, the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations. I demand the highest standards, and where they are not met, I take action. However, no nation has a more talented, more dedicated group of law enforcement investigators and prosecutors than the United States. I am proud to serve with them and proud of the work we have done in successfully advancing the rule of law.”
Welcome to America. Now enjoy your cerveza, it’s happy hour!
