Harvey Weinstein appears to have reached a $44 million deal with the women who accused him of sexual misconduct.

Per Wall Street Journal reporter Corinne Ramey, “that $44 million is not coming from Harvey Weinstein himself, it’s actually coming from insurance policies.”

Approximately $30 million is appropriated for the alleged victims and former employees of the Weinstein Co. with the rest for legal fees.

The next step is for the bankruptcy court to accept the agreement.

A mediator has been working on that case in Delaware Bankruptcy Court since last year.
