House Democrats Help Get Back Pay for Shutdown Fed Employees

With the longest government shutdown in history lasting 35 days and a temporary agreement to fund the government through February 15th, federal government employees are still having a difficult time receiving their back pay.

House Oversight and Reform Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), Government Operations Subcommittee Chairman Gerry Connolly and Rep. Jennifer wrote a letter to Mick Mulvaney, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and to Margaret Weichert the acting Director of Office of Personnel Management.
