The House Judiciary Committee controlled by the Democrats rejected an amendment to issue a subpoena for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
“If you’re going to go through with this, add Mr. Rosenstein’s name so we can ask him some important questions that the American people need to know,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, argued during a markup of the resolution.
If you remember, Rep. Jim Jordan had filed Articles of Impeachment against Rod Rosenstein, his way of disrupting the Robert Mueller investigation since former Attorney General Jeff Sessions had recused himself, leaving Rosenstein in charge.
You can guarantee that Republicans will get a dose of political karma considering the acts they took to block the Mueller investigation.
The amendment was proposed by Rep. Andy Biggs from Arizona.
