‒ The Florida State-Boise State college football game scheduled for Saturday at TIAA Bank Field has been relocated to the FSU campus in Tallahassee, but the game is still be seen on ESPN.
‒ The University of North Florida canceled all classes and student activities Saturday through at least Tuesday. All faculty and administrative offices will also be closed. Residential housing will remain open and the Osprey Cafe will continue to operate on a normal schedule.
‒ Jacksonville University has canceled classes beginning at 2 p.m. Friday and will be closed on Tuesday.
‒ Florida State College at Jacksonville will close all of its campuses and centers Saturday through Tuesday.
‒ Edward Waters College will be closed through Tuesday.
‒ Flagler College canceled classes effective Monday, through Wednesday.
‒ Saturday’s Riverside Arts Market has been canceled.
‒ Amtrak is canceling select Southeast services beginning Saturday.
‒ Bold City Beer Fest, scheduled for Sunday under the Fuller Warren Bridge, has been rescheduled to Sunday, Sept. 22, in the same location.
‒ Jacksonville University’s scheduled Sunday men’s soccer game against USC Upstate has been moved to 7 p.m. Monday in Spartanburg, S.C.
‒ Jacksonville University’s women’s soccer match at Florida International was moved up to 11 a.m. Friday, and its scheduled Sunday game at Miami is canceled.
‒ The remainder of the Florida State League minor league baseball season, including the playoffs, has been canceled.
‒ The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners has canceled its regular meeting and its special budget meeting Tuesday.
