Peter Strzok, President Trump, Russia Collusion, and the Deep State
President Trump will be walking on air today now that the FBI has fired Peter Strzok.
Who is Peter Strzok
Strzok was an FBI agent that was involved in the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server and recommended that no criminal charges be pursued against Clinton.
A year ago, Strzok was also working with the Robert Mueller team on the Russia election meddling and this is where Trump supporters get lost.
We all know and it has been documented that Russia meddled in our election. That is an overwhelming consensus by the Intelligence Community. So, one thing has nothing to do with another. That doesn’t justify Strzok’s actions, but again, these are two separate and independent acts.
Trump has had his sights on Strzok for a while regarding the “witch hunt” since his text messages to Lisa Page, another FBI Agent he was having an affair with, revealed his bias.
“Agent Peter Strzok was just fired from the FBI – finally. The list of bad players in the FBI & DOJ gets longer & longer. Based on the fact that Strzok was in charge of the Witch Hunt, will it be dropped? It is a total Hoax. No Collusion, No Obstruction – I just fight back!”
“Just fired Agent Strzok, formerly of the FBI, was in charge of the Crooked Hillary Clinton sham investigation. It was a total fraud on the American public and should be properly redone!” -President Trump
Now, while Trump supporters are cheering and popping the corks off their champagne bottles, let’s realize that Strzok is one of many agents that was working on the Mueller probe and Strzok doesn’t run the show.
Information and evidence is gathered and it works up through the chain of command, so, it’s not like Strzok controls the investigation and could convince everyone to turn on the President. Note that Robert Mueller is a long time Republican as is Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
The moment that Strzok was discovered to have sent those texts, what did Robert Mueller do? He removed Strzok from the team. He didn’t tweet about it or give media interviews. He also didn’t offer Strzok hush money or have him sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). That can’t be done anyway as Strzok is a government official, but you understand where I’m going with this.
Regardless of Strzok, how many employees work at the FBI, on the Hillary Clinton private email investigation and the Robert Mueller investigation? And this is all that has been found?
There’s no doubt that Strzok was going to be disciplined one way or another. After all his years of working with the FBI, firing him seems extreme, even though he was already demoted. However, firing Strzok sends a clear message.
Whether it is Mueller or the FBI, there is zero tolerance. That’s a positive. There was no coverup. Strozk didn’t refuse to testify before the Senate in public hearings or lawyer up.
Now, compare that to the amount of indictments and evidence that Robert Mueller has uncovered during the course of his investigation.
