President Trump Bullies the Migrant Caravan
Once a bully, always a bully. As the world watches this new America that is unforgiving, as children are photographed running away from tear gas near the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump looks for a political victory at any cost.
President Trump’s heartless attacks on migrants who legally can cross the border and request asylum, is just Trump angling for his precious border wall. Trump’s message is clear: this won’t stop. This will continue but it can stop if you give me the money for the border wall.
“Mexico should move the flag waving Migrants, many of whom are stone cold criminals, back to their countries. Do it by plane, do it by bus, do it anyway you want, but they are NOT coming into the U.S.A. We will close the Border permanently if need be. Congress, fund the WALL!”

A government shutdown is less than two weeks away if Congress can’t strike a deal to fund the federal government. Trump wants $5 billion for construction of the border wall and he has made clear there will be a shutdown without it, not caring how many hundreds of thousands federal employees won’t get paid with the holidays upon us.
Last week, U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar suspended President Trump’s new policy of requiring migrants to enter through “official ports of entry.” The 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act states that any foreigner who arrives in the USA, “whether or not at a designated port of arrival,” may apply for asylum, which was another victory scored by the ACLU, but as usual, Trump is in defiance of the courts as evidenced by how many children are still separated from their families.
Now President Trump with more ignorant rhetoric has his followers convinced of “judicial activism” and that the courts are legislating, failing to ignore that the court’s obligation is to interpret the law, which includes interpreting legislative intent, something the courts have done since day one. If a law is deemed invalid or unconstitutional, the courts strike it down, allowing for legislators to return to the drawing board and try again. We witnessed that with President Trump’s Muslim travel ban, but the right doesn’t want to hear that because it doesn’t coincide with their narrative.
President Trump after attacking the 9th Circuit after losing on his change in the asylum process, now goes after Chief Justice John Roberts. Next will be Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

President Trump’s new migrant caravan policy is called “Remain in Mexico” and Mexico states it has no such agreement with the United States.
