President Trump Knows More than the Supreme Court
President Trump just has no clue. No clue how government works. No clue on politics. No clue on being a decent human being, and definitely no clue on the law or how the court system works. Then again, President Trump did say once before that he knew more than the Generals in the U.S. Military. I will never understand why the military supports President Trump.
In his latest tweet of ignorance, he is now telling the U.S. Supreme Court what they should do. Note to the President- you have no authority.
“Ohr told the FBI it (the Fake Dossier) wasn’t true, it was a lie and the FBI was determined to use it anyway to damage Trump and to perpetrate a fraud on the court to spy on the Trump campaign. This is a fraud on the court. The Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court is in……
…charge of the FISA court. He should direct the Presiding Judge, Rosemary Collier, to hold a hearing, haul all of these people from the DOJ & FBI in there, & if she finds there were crimes committed, and there were, there should be a criminal referral by her….” @GreggJarrett
Now, what does the President know about practicing law? Nothing. I guess he’s now practicing law without a license, a felony by the way. But, let’s look past that.
The Alex Jones President is now telling the U.S. Supreme Court, the most brilliant of legal minds this country has to offer, what a crime is and how to conduct business when it comes to FISA warrants (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act). That is ignorance at best, but, the Trump followers will swallow that up like gospel.
Let’s simplify this. For one, we have a government of checks and balances. The three branches of government are the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive. Each branch is separate from the other.
The Legislative Branch passes the law. The Executive Branch enforces the law. The Judicial Branch interprets the law. One branch does not have more power or authority than the other, hence, the system of checks and balances. Each branch keeps each other in “check” so to speak.
President “Know it All” is trying to enforce and interpret the law at the same time. The legal fallacy? He needs standing. What is standing?
Standing is the term used in the law that one must have in order to seek relief from the courts. The example I always use: pick a sport and an athlete and that team fires the athlete who is your favorite and you think he is great for the team. Can you file a lawsuit? Of course, not. You have no standing. You weren’t affected legally by the team’s decision. Maybe personally, but definitely not legally. The athlete could file a lawsuit, but you can’t.
Does President Trump have standing? No. There is nothing pending in court regarding him and FISA warrants and the Steele Dossier. If tomorrow they indict the President, then yes, he has standing. For now, nothing, but again, a move to get his base excited with chants of fraud, deep state, and the like.
