President Trump- Paul Manafort is a Good Man
It must be hard to be the leader of a cult. Seriously, think about it. Cult leaders have to say and do things they know is wrong, and do it with a convincing smile, sometimes a straight face. I don’t know how they do it.
Yesterday, after the nuclear political bombs dropped in the Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort cases, the President was scheduled for a rally in Charleston, West Virginia.
Rather than say nothing at all which would have been the smartest thing to do, the President continued supporting a convicted criminal in Manafort. How is that not a slap in the face of the judicial system and the jury that performed their civic duty?
This President respects nothing. Not our system of government, not people, nothing except blind followers that are getting in line to drink Kook-Aid.
President Trump Supports Manafort
When asked by the media about Manafort, the President responded with-
“Paul Manafort is a good man. He was with Ronald Reagan. He was with a lot of different people over the years. I feel very sad about that. It doesn’t involve me but I still feel — you know it’s a very sad thing that happened. You know, this has nothing to do with Russian collusion.”
Let me quote the President with this one- Sad…
Defending a convicted felon? WTF am I missing here that Trump supporters just refuse to see? If Manafort was your uncle, there’s a good chance you would say “don’t hang out with my uncle, he’s nothing but a convict.”
Of course, when it came to Michael Cohen, “the flipper” known previously as “the fixer,” it was crickets with the President. Once again… Sad.
But of course, President Trump went on the attack with Mueller.
“It’s a witch hunt and it’s disgrace. But this has nothing to do with what they started out, looking for Russians in our campaign — there were none. It was not the original mission believe me. It was something very much different. It had nothing to do with Russian collusion. We continue the witch hunt.”
Then, Trump walks off with a thumbs up.
Let me try to sugarcoat this as best as possible: if you believe this is a witch hunt, you are an idiot, and if you want support the President, let’s be clear; you support corruption.
