Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, aka RBG, is back after missing a week of oral arguments and three private conferences at the Supreme Court.
Justice Ginsburg had missed oral arguments for the first time after twenty-five years on the bench when she underwent lung cancer surgery.
Today, the Supreme Court had what is known as a closed-door session where legal opinions are discussed, including cases to accept on the court’s docket. Justice Ginsberg returned as the Supreme Court is facing the “U.S. Census” case which is about asking a citizenship question on the 2020 census and is expected to be heard in June of this year.
