Refinery Bankruptcy Leads to President Trump Meeting
The Renewable Fuel Standard regulation requires refiners to pay for the cost of mixing biofuels and corn-based ethanol. Philadelphia Energy Solutions which filed for bankruptcy in January, blames the regulation.
As a result, President Trump has ordered a meeting to discuss biofuels policy. Expected at the meeting is Senator Ted Cruz, Chuck Grassley, Scott Pruitt- head of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), Sonny Perdue the Agriculture Secretary, and Energy Secretary Rick Perry.

Winn-Dixie stores are located throughout the southeast United States and as many as two hundred locations may be closed due to the bankruptcy. Winn-Dixie had previously filed for bankruptcy in 2005 and 2009.
