Robert Mueller’s Move with Michael Cohen- Brilliant

Special Counsel Mueller has one characteristic that we know of for sure; excellent timing.

William Barr, President Trump’s pick for Attorney General, is scheduled for confirmation hearings next week, and while Barr has said that he will protect the Mueller investigation, he did write a lengthy unsolicited memo to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on the Mueller probe where he defended the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

Thus, Barr is saying one thing and doing another. But, that’s where Mueller continues with his tactical moves like the Marine platoon leader that he once was.

It’s now confirmed that Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal attorney and “fixer,” will testify publicly before Congress.

We have an idea of some of the topics that Cohen will testify to such as the campaign violations and hush payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, but we know there is so much more and the only reason he gets to testify publicly is because Mueller would have granted the request.

By knowing that Cohen is about to air Trump’s dirty laundry, there’s no firing Mueller at this point. Not only do members of Congress want to hear what Cohen has to say, so does the country and the world for that fact. The reality TV presidency just went PRIME TIME!

Mueller and his team of prosecutors as we know have made no statements to the media or publicly. Any talking Mueller has done, he’s done so through his pleadings, indictments, and plea deals. Now, we will hear from Mueller by proxy. Just imagine the wealth of information Cohen possesses, and yet, we still will only know a fraction of what Mueller knows.

Before the midterm elections, bills were introduced to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller, specifically, by former Arizona Senator Jeff Flake. But, Senator Mitch McConnell has blocked every bill. There is even a new bi-partisan bill supported by Senator Lindsey Graham to protect Mueller. Again, we know that McConnell will block that bill, too.

Thus, Mueller already knows that those that have the power to protect his investigation, aren’t going to, so Mueller has to do it himself. By having Cohen testify, that is exactly what Mueller has accomplished.

In addition, revenge is a dish best served cold. Cohen will now get the opportunity to get back at Rudy Giuliani and President Trump for all the lies and derogatory statements that they have made about him, especially President Trump who threw him under the bus like he does to everyone else.

Mueller just called “check.”
