Rosenstein Got Played with the Comey Memo

Andrew McCabe is coming out with a new book in which he states that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was ordered to write the memo that resulted in former FBI Director James Comey getting firing.

Per McCabe in a private meeting, Rosenstein accused President Trump of acting like a mob boss and that he was unleashing a “strain of insanity” in American public life. Rosenstein realized that he was set up, used as a scapegoat for Comey’s firing.

Remember, President Trump hid behind the memo as his justification for firing Comey. We know that Trump wanted to get rid of Comey because of the Russia investigation which Trump admitted, stupidly in an interview with Lester Holt.

McCabe goes on to say that Trump wanted loyalty from him as well.

“The president and his men were trying to work me the way a criminal brigade would operate.” McCabe was even asked by Trump whom he voted for and even though McCabe has always been registered Republican, he did not vote for Trump.

McCabe’s book is due out this month and it’s called “The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump.”
