Sears in Oahu Windward Mall Closing

Photo Biz Journal

Per Biz Journal, Sears will close its anchor store at Windward Mall in Oahu by the end of this month.

The closure seem to be unrelated to Sear’s initial Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

There are three other mall-anchor stores located in Hawaii:

(1) Pearlridge Center in Aiea, which is owned by Washington Prime Group;

(2) Queen Kaahumanu Center on Maui, owned by The Seligman Group in Michigan;

(3) Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo on the Big Island, which is owned by Brookfield Properties Retail Group.
