President Trump Sticks it to Federal Employees Again

First, a government shutdown over the archaic concept of a wall even though President Trump is realizing he’ll never get a wall, so now he is calling it steel slats and a great barrier.

White House Counsel Kellyanne Conway is calling it “enhancements at the border.”

Senator Lindsey Graham is saying the wall is a “metaphor,” that’s one expensive metaphor.

Chief of Staff John Kelly said the White House gave up on a solid concrete wall long ago.

Per Trump’s tweets this morning, he still wants a concrete wall, but likes the idea of a “see-through” wall, whatever that is. Sounds like a sliding glass door.

“An all concrete Wall was NEVER ABANDONED, as has been reported by the media. Some areas will be all concrete but the experts at Border Patrol prefer a Wall that is see through (thereby making it possible to see what is happening on both sides). Makes sense to me!”

Now with the Trump shutdown heading into 2019, what does President Trump do? He signs an Executive Order freezing pay for federal employees.

The pay hike was to be a 2.1 percent bump in pay. So now federal employees, those considered essential, can continue going to work and not get paid for it, and when they do get paid retroactively, they won’t have a raise to look forward to. Great way to build morale, right?

This is why I wrote a blog post in September that there seemed to be plenty of money to play golf, but not give federal employees a raise.

Even in a blog post yesterday, again I advocated giving the $25 billion for the wall to Veteran’s, especially after seeing that Republican Mike Enzi from Wyoming rejected funding for Veteran’s having health conditions from Agent Orange because it’s too expensive.

How in the #### is this even an issue? Why can’t the Veterans get the $25 billion to try to improve their health?

And what Trump supporters continue to fail to realize is that Trump profits from tax payers by visiting his properties.

I’ll repeat this again because apparently, Trump supporters like to say President Trump is donating his salary. That’s nice, but he makes more money in the backend.

If Trump stays at one of his golf courses, where do you think staff and Secret Service stay and eat? At the Holiday Inn down the street? No, at Trump’s property. Who pays for that? The taxpayer.

See, that wasn’t so difficult. By now, Secret Service has already spent more than $50,000 to rent Trump’s golf carts at his own properties.

Per the latest reporting, tax payers are paying $54,000 for tent rentals at the Mar-a-Lago New Year’s party. Why facts are so scary is a question I’ll never be to answer.

The Executive Order signed by President Trump can be seen below.
