Thank You for the Early Christmas Gift Paul Manafort
Do you know what happens when you lie? Eventually, the truth comes out, and thanks to Paul Manafort, the truth is coming out very soon.
Paul Manafort was convicted of financial fraud, basically lying, so it comes as no surprise that he would lie to Special Counsel Robert Mueller, especially since he was arrogant enough to think he can outsmart Mueller’s team.
Manafort also has a bankruptcy fraud case pending in California along with his son-in-law.
Paul Manafort’s former son-in-law, Jeffrey Yohai, has been charged with wire fraud and identity theft with a real estate scam in the city of Los Angeles. Yohai is a real estate developer who did deals with Manafort.
Manafort has a history of lying and being sneaky. Let’s not forget he ended up in prison awaiting trial for witness tampering, as he was sending encrypted messages to a witness and guess who had all those messages? Then, all of a sudden, Manafort is going to court in a wheelchair.
But, with Manafort’s plea negotiations hitting a wall, the next step is sentencing, which means President Trump should be going ballistic right now.
Yesterday, I posed the question in one of my posts why would Manafort lie? Isn’t dying in prison alone worse than cooperating with Mueller, or is it safer in prison than out and about?
Regardless, what Manafort failed to realize is by lying, whatever he was trying to cover up, just got uncovered.
Paul Manafort lied to Special Counsel Mueller, ending their plea deal. The question is why is Manafort lying? To protect who?
We know that Manafort was in plea negotiations with Mueller, but that’s all we know. The details however, will be known soon because Mueller gets to go to court and say exactly what Manafort lied about it.
Manafort’s second criminal trial involved not being registered as a foreign agent in the United States and his work with the Ukraine, and considering that Manafort was at the Trump Tower meeting, if Manafort lied about that and Mueller can prove it, the door has just been kicked wide open into President Trump, his cronies, and his campaign colluding with Russia.
Even better, Don, Jr. was at the Trump Tower meeting and most likely lied about who he made a blocked phone call to after the meeting, which means Mueller can go after Jr. as well, even though I’m sure secretly, Mueller has Don, Jr. in his sights long ago.

Donald Trump, Jr. will likely have his phone records subpoenaed by Adam Schiff to investigate if he called President Trump after the Trump Tower meeting.
