The Border Wall Has Become a Crisis- A Fabricated One

All of the sudden, the sky is falling. We need a border wall and we need it yesterday! Forget the fact that most illegal immigration takes places through ports of entry such as airports and forget the fact the same applies to drugs.

Without the border wall, we are going to hell in a handbasket, even though I’ve read some reports that it would take more than two decades to complete the wall.

Of course, we are seventeen days into the Trump government shutdown and President Trump has done a good job on making his base focus on the wall instead of on the fact that 800,000 federal employees aren’t getting paid. And now he is pulling out all the stops by addressing the nation at 9 p.m. tonight eastern standard time.

What the President will say, who knows. Will he even stay on point?

It’s possible that President Trump will declare building the wall a national emergency and there is your crisis. Another legal and constitutional crisis created by the President so then he can bash the judges and the court system when he loses, then supporters following Sarah Huckabee’s cue, start talking about “judicial activism” which doesn’t apply if the courts rule in Trump’s favor, hence, the hypocrisy.

There was lots of debating, both on social media and television networks on whether to air the President’s address tonight considering he calls the media “fake news.” More hypocrisy.

Almost immediately, hashtags related to the President’s address started trending: #BoycottTheNetworks #BoycottTrumpPrimeTime #BoycottTrumpsAddress.

The biggest challenge for networks is that President Trump will speak uninterrupted, so expect the lies to be record breaking! Fact checks of course will occur afterwards, but by then how many viewers moved on to something else?

Unfortunately, I’ve not heard of any network actually running a delay to fact check the President’s statements as they are all going live.
