The Disgust That is the Republican Party – Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh

It’s official. In the closest vote for a U.S. Supreme Court Judge, Brett Kavanaugh gets the nod at 50-48. Let’s not forget that Justice Ginsburg, a woman who worked as an attorney for the ACLU, received 99 out of 100 votes. Partisan politics today?

The accusations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh were road blocked by President Trump, White House Counsel Don McGahn, and Republican Senators Chuck Grassley, Lindsey Graham, Orin Hatch, and Mitch McConnell.

If those lies could be converted into bricks, there would be enough bricks to build the Mexico border wall.

Protestors interrupted the confirmation votes while thousands protested outside, and others protested by opening up their wallets and donating to the future opponent of Senator Susan Collins.

In the end, the Republicans continue to show their dirty politics, arrogance, and gloating for shoving two Supreme Court Justices down our throats.

Start with Senator McConnell who fabricated the McConnell Rule which prevented President Obama’s pick- Merrick Garland from even getting a confirmation hearing. Yesterday with his smug smile, McConnell said: “the mob didn’t win.” He even joked by saying maybe he should thank anti-Kavanaugh protestors for unifying the GOP.

If you protest against Republicans, it is a mob. When it’s for President Trump, it’s supporters. I prefer to use the term cult followers.

Senator Lindsey Graham whose comments were nothing short of disgusting and a direct insult to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and survivors of sexual assault everywhere, said that Brett Kavanugh was the “slut whore drunk” of the story. I could spend the next three hundred words using expletives to express my emotions, but I’ll move on because this POS of a person isn’t worth it.

Senator Orin Hatch said for the protestors to “grow up.” I guess in his old age he forgot about the protests in the sixties about the Vietnam War and Dr. Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement. Maybe Senator Hatch doesn’t realize that freedom of speech and assembly is the First Amendment, not the second or third, but the first. Which means how important the framers of the Constitution considered it.

Senator Chuck Grassely on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo said he tends to believe that the elevator protestors are being paid by George Soros and of course, the Conspirator in Chief tweeted the same nonsense a few hours later.

Here is something to consider-

  • Orin Hatch is 84 years old.
  • Chuck Grassley is 85 years old.
  • Mitch McConnell is 76 years old.
  • President Trump is 72 years old.
  • The spring chicken in the group is Lindsey Graham at 63.

These are the leaders of the Senate and our country. Old. White. Rich. What do you have in common with the top 1%? Not a damn thing. Vote them out!
