The FBI Goes to Work- Kavanaugh’s Second Accuser
Now that President Trump has ordered the FBI to investigate the accusations levied against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the FBI has already reached out to Deborah Ramirez.
John Clune, Ramirez’s lawyer, confirmed her cooperation and that the FBI has made contact. Ramirez accuses Kavanaugh of putting his penis next to her face as she came to from playing a drinking game.
“We can confirm the FBI has reached out to interview Ms. Ramirez and she has agreed to cooperate with their investigation. Out of respect for the integrity of the process, we will have no further comment at this time.” John Clune.
President Trump in speaking with the media said maybe this is a “blessing in disguise.”
“They have free rein. They’re going to do whatever they have to do, whatever it is they do. They’ll be doing things that we have never even thought of. And hopefully at the conclusion everything will be fine.” President Trump.
Once the FBI completes their investigation, they will hand over the results to the White House and the Senators will have access to that information via Kavanaugh’s file.
Mark Judge, Kavanaugh’s high school bff, has also come out publicly and confirmed he will cooperate, but has stated he will do so only in a confidential setting, not a public hearing. Kavanaugh has had past issues with alcoholism and anxiety disorders.
Now, to what extent will Judge cooperate is my question? Is he willing to take a polygraph examination? If so, then we should accept the results if it puts Kavanaugh in the clear, but if he is not willing to take a polygraph examination, now what? We could see Judge pleading the Fifth and at that point, it’s over for Kavanaugh. Remember what President Trump has said about those that plead the Fifth; only the mob does that.
If the Republicans can’t get Kavanaugh on the bench, then chances are the Democrats take over during the midterms and will have more than enough votes to reject any future nominees for the Supreme Court. I have two words for you: Merrick Garland.
Imagine we remain with eight Justices on the Supreme Court through 2020. A Democratic candidate takes over the White House and in yet another show of political Karma, Garland gets his chance. Yes, I would love to see that.
