The Hypocrisy of Trump, Supporters- Mob Rule and Bomb Threats

Breaking News- Bomb Threats Today!

Updated numerous times as reports keep coming in.

Earlier this week, George Soros received a suspicious package at his home in Westchester County, New York. No one was injured. The package was not mailed and seems it was placed at his home.

Today, we also know that the Bill and Hillary Clinton at their home in Chappaqua, New York, former CIA Director John Brennan at the CNN Time Warner offices in New York, President Barack Obama at his home in Washington, D.C., Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz at her office in Sunrise, Florida, and Eric Holder also received suspicious packages.

At least one package had a white powdery substance and the others were pipe bombs. One or more packages had Wasserman’s office as the original sender.

How did President Trump respond to these failed terrorist threats against his notable adversaries? He retweeted Vice President Mike Pence’s tweet. Any comment on mob rule? No, but he is using the hashtag #jobsnotmobs in multiple tweets.

Of course, besides his false declarations that Democrats and supporters are violent mobs, let’s not forget that this past weekend President Trump was saying that there were riots in California by Democrats because of sanctuary cities. A 100% false statement.

While campaigning recently in Billings, Montana, the President supported Congressman Greg Gianforte who was sentenced to six months of deferred jail time, 40 hours of community service, 20 hours of anger management sessions and $385 in fines and court fees for the misdemeanor assault of a journalist. What does Trump say at the rally?

“Any guy that can do a body slam – he’s my kind of, he’s my guy.” – President Trump.

Finally, President Trump had to acknowledge the brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi Arabia after denying the reports for weeks.

But, it’s not only Trump, it’s his supporters. I don’t see the usual suspects on social media saying anything. Crickets. But, what else do you expect from a President that called white nationalists and white supremacy groups at the protests at Charlottesville as “very fine people on both sides.”

Before I finished writing this post, Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York just said in a live press briefing that a suspicious package was also sent to his office. He was notified just moments ago.

With another crisis on our hands, the President once again fails to lead us and only creates further divisiveness. Will he criticize Democrats as violent mobs again at his next campaign rally? Most likely. Will he mention the bomb threats? I doubt it.
