The National Enquirer is Losing Money

As I keep saying, everything that President Trump touches, turns to ####. There is no Midas touch.

David Pecker, the former chairman for AMI, American Media Inc., the parent company of the National Enquirer, has been a long-time friend of President Trump to the point he helped Trump bury negative stories about him for decades, especially during Trump’s presidential campaign.

But now, the National Enquirer is losing money, and a lot of it.

Records obtained by the Associated Press reveals that American Media Inc., lost $72 million last year. Circulation dropped by 18% per week and 15% during the previous twelve months.

American Media, Inc. has long term debt in the amount of $882 million. David Pecker owns eight percent of AMI.
