The NRA Makes Nancy Pelosi Target Practice

The National Rifle Association published in their magazine a picture with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former Rep. Gabby Giffords, a victim of gun violence who was shot in the head, with the headline that reads “Target Practice.”

Pelosi’s daughter, Christine reacted and posted on Twitter the following:

“We must condemn this intentional, outrageous criminal incitement. We cannot allow this hate speech to stop common-sense gun violence prevention.”

Rep. Eric Swalwell urged a boycott of the NRA. “The NRA should face legal consequences,” he tweeted. “But let’s put them out of business with boycotts and ballot boxes. #EnoughIsEnough.”

Pelosi a’ la McConnell Blocking Trump’s National Emergency

Published February 24, 2019

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be introducing legislation to block President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to build his border wall. A lesson no doubt learned from Senator Mitch McConnell.

Under the National Emergencies Act and with co-sponsor Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas), Congress will attempt to block the declaration, but the White House has already said it would veto it, which would be Trump’s first veto in office.

The bill is expected to pass the House and the Senate.

A Presidential Coup d’é·tat

Published February 21, 2019

President Trump is now accusing former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe of having committed treason and plotting a coup. Of course, Trump made his statement based on comments by Sean Hannity during his show.

Quoting Hannity, Trump wrote:

“’The biggest abuse of power and corruption scandal in our history, and it’s much worse than we thought. Andrew McCabe (FBI) admitted to plotting a coup (government overthrow) when he was serving in the FBI, before he was fired for lying & leaking.’” @seanhannity @FoxNews Treason!”

This is the part that I remind you that Trump is actually President of the United States.
