Three Dead in Two Hit-and-Run Accidents in Jacksonville

The Florida Times Union is reporting that over the weekend there were two hit-and-run accidents resulting in the death of three.

Sunday morning at approximately 2:25 a.m., an unknown vehicle struck a 34-year-old man riding a motorized mini-bike near Butler Boulevard and Gate Parkway.

In addition, on Saturday morning, two bicyclists were killed in another hit-and-run accident on the 5400 block of Racetrack Road near Bartram Springs Parkway.

The car involved is a 2016 Hyundai sedan with extensive front end damage that was found later, however, the driver of the vehicle reminds at large. Florida Highway Patrol described him as an African-American man wearing an orange shirt.
