We’ve all seen the Tough Mudder videos, maybe a friend of yours did one or even yourself (I did two) but the extreme obstacle course competition is in bankruptcy.
Now, Tough Mudder is facing its own extreme obstacle course as it is in bankruptcy and guess what, it wasn’t Tough Mudder that filed for bankruptcy, it was an “involuntary bankruptcy petition” filed by its creditors.
Creditors have filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy to collect more than $855,000 that they say Tough Mudder owes them. The general contracting firms are Valley Builders, LLC, Trademarc Associates, and David Watkins Homes, Inc. according to Bloomberg.
The case is Alleged Debtor Tough Mudder Inc. 20-10036, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware (Wilmington).
