Either President Trump is gullible, incompetent, or Russia has kompromat on him.
Latest reports are that after meeting with President Vladimir Putin at the 2017 G20 summit where President Trump actually believed a foreign enemy dictator over his own intelligence community, Trump phoned a journalist from The New York Times and said he believed Putin that Russia did not hack the elections because Putin said that “if we did [hack the election], we wouldn’t have gotten caught because we’re professionals.”
Trump’s logic was that “I thought that was a good point because they are some of the best in the world.”
I guess the President is ignoring the fact that maybe that idea was to get caught in order to create divisiveness in the country. Are we divided as a country? There’s your answer.
But, in the same sentence when asked about James Comey, John Brenner, and James Clapper, President Trump reacted by saying that Brennan and Clapper are “the most political” intelligence chiefs he knew, and that Comey was “a leaker.”
If President Trump was only tougher on Putin than his own intelligence committee, we would be living in a different country.
Of course, Trump announced out of the blue his decision to withdraw troops from Syria, a decision even criticized by GOP leaders like Senator Lindsey Graham, resulting in Trump’s administration backtracking somewhat on that statement.
This week three Americans were killed by a suicide bomber in Syria in a restaurant that was even visited by Senator Lindsey Graham when he visited the troops.
“My concern, by the statements made by President Trump, is that you set in motion enthusiasm by the enemy we’re fighting. You make people we’re trying to help wonder about us. And as they get bolder, the people we’re trying to help are going to get more uncertain. I saw this in Iraq. And I’m now seeing it in Syria,” said Senator Graham.
Senator Graham added: “every American wants our troops to come home, but I think all of us want to make sure that when they do come home, we’re safe.”
Of course, the bombing comes after President Trump said “we have won against ISIS. We’ve beaten them and we’ve beaten them badly. We’ve taken back the land and now it’s time for our troops to come back home.”
In addition, President Trump has been considering withdrawing from NATO a move that helps guess who? Putin and Russia.
Hillary Clinton was right, Trump is Putin’s puppet.
