FILE – In this Feb. 11, 2017 file photo, pro-choice counter-protesters hold signs supporting a woman’s right to choose abortion, as nearby anti-abortion activists held a rally in front of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains in Denver. Several affiliates of Planned Parenthood are suing the Department of Health and Human Services over its efforts to impose an abstinence-only focus on its Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program that has served more than 1 million young people. The lawsuits were filed Friday, June 22, 2018, in federal courts in New York City and Spokane, Washington, by four different Planned Parenthood affiliates covering New York City and the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska and Washington. Trump Still Losing- Planned Parenthood Wins Yugely

Kansas and Louisiana tried to have Medicaid funding cut for Planned Parenthood, but the U.S. Supreme Court did not have a hearing on the appeal filed by the states.

As a result of the Supreme Court’s rejection of a hearing, the lower courts’ ruling will stand that the states are violating federal law by terminating Medicaid contracts for Planned Parenthood which disproportionately affects the poor.

In order for the case to be heard, four justices would have had to agree, but only Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch voted to hear the case, which means that Brett Kavanaugh skipped out on this one.

Russia’s Three Prong Attack on the U.S. – Prong 1

A few months ago I wrote a post where I had said I would detail Russia’s three prong attack on the U.S. I never did write those three posts because this administration keeps me so damn busy with the rest of the chaos that surrounds it, but it’s time we put the pieces of the Russian puzzle together.

Now that Maria Butina has flipped, it’s time that I write about this because after all this, I still find it hard to believe that so many Trump supporters fail to see the connections between Trump, his campaign, and Russia, especially with sixteen people in Trump’s orbit that have connections and communications to Russia one way or another (post on that coming out later today).

Last week I wrote about alleged Russian spy Maria Butina working on a plea deal. Per a court filing yesterday, it’s a done deal!

Butina has been an interesting character from day one, but Robert Mueller never handled her case, even though the FBI had their eyes on Butina for a long time and she was arrested when it seemed she was out the door, literally, and heading back to Mother Russia. The problem with Butina is at the minimum coincidental, but as life has taught me, rarely there are any coincidences.

First, there was that odd exchange as seen in the video below of President Trump answering questions at Freedom Fest and of all the people to call out, he points to Butina.

Trump starts talking about how President Obama loves Putin. Huh? Obama and Putin were not buddy-buddy because of the sanctions he placed on Russia. The same sanctions that Trump and his campaign wanted to lift even though top White House officials advised against it. The latest reporting on Michael Cohen and the Moscow Project only opens the door to further scrutiny. Which continually leads to the question; why the obsession with Trump’s administration and Russia?

Besides that strange interaction between Trump and Butina, it should also be noted that Butina had bragged about being connected to President Trump and was trying to organize a meeting between him and Putin. Apparently, Butina got drunk and talked too much before some fellow students at American University where she attended and get this, she was working on cyber security.

Guess who also drank too much and bragged about his connections to Trump and Russia? George Papadopoulos?

Butina also had a knack for flirting with older men who happened to be Republican.

Remember the day that President Trump embarrassed our country before the world and showed his true colors where he agreed with President Putin at the Summit in Helsinki, Finland and denied the findings of his own intelligence community on Russia hacking our elections? Butina was arrested that day, a story that got buried in the news because of Trump agreeing with Putin.

Ever notice big news happens when the President is out of town?

Two days before that, twelve Russians were indicted for hacking into the DNC server. Coincidence? Let’s go a step further.

Butina has deep ties with members of the Republican party, especially Paul Erickson who is running out of time and whether he realizes it or not, he was an asset to Russia as Butina’s boyfriend.

Erickson I would venture to say had no idea he was being played but come on, Butina is much younger than Erickson, much better looking than him, and she’s Russian. Seriously, he couldn’t put the pieces together? At least in the show “The Americans,” Elizabeth Jennings hides her Russian accent.

Russia, the NRA, and Butina

I’ve also written numerous posts on Russia and the NRA, there have even been top NRA officials who have visited Russia in the past including current National Security Adviser John Bolton who even did a promotional video with Butina and which has resulted in House Democrats requesting information.

Bolton headed the NRA’s International Subcommittee that was tied into Russia and currently, the Senate has requested financial documents from the NRA and any funds received from Russians/Russia.

Let’s not forget that the NRA dropped $30 million into Trump’s campaign as well.

Leakin’ James Comey Flips the Table on Trump

Former FBI director James Comey testified on Friday in a closed-door session with the House and per a last minute deal, his transcripts were made available publicly within twenty-four hours. His full transcript can be seen at the end of this post.

In his testimony, Comey states he ordered an investigation into a leak because leading up to the end of the 2016 presidential campaign,Giuliani made statements that indicated that Hillary Clinton was being investigated for mishandling classified information, in this case, her private email server.

Note to Mueller:  “please, please tell me you are investigating Giuliani as well.”

I’ve said plenty of times that state Bar rules and ethic clauses dictate how attorneys are to deal with the media and Giuliani has violated those rules endless amount of times.

Giuliani defended his public statements by saying the information he received was from retired FBI agents, which seems to me as the same difference. It’s still information he obtained in an on-going investigation to benefit his client.

“I was concerned that there appeared to be in the media a number of stories that might have been based on communications reporters or non-reporters like Rudy Giuliani were having with people in the New York field office.”

“Mr. Giuliani was making statements that appeared to be based on his knowledge of workings inside the FBI New York,” Comey said. “And then my recollection is there were other stories that were in the same ballpark that gave me a general concern that we may have a leak problem—unauthorized disclosure problem out of New York, and so I asked that it be investigated.”

So who is leaking now? In all seriousness, does that really come as a surprise?
